What? by Windmaedchen What? by Windmaedchen
I totally over-drew this. xD Thankfully Holmes always makes a good figure. :3

Not sure what he's doing but why would it be important anyway? EVERYTHING Holmes does is worth drawing. xD

Sherlock Holmes (c) A.C.Doyle
Style inspired by the awesome drawings by Tealin.

Lovely! I love how you draw him- whether the simpler comic versions or more detailed (and not over drawn ;)), you always capture him perfectly in feature, pose and expression!

Btw, one of my first thoughts upon seeing this was how much it reminded me of Tealin's Holmes- which is awesome, cause s/he(?) draws one of my favorite versions of him!

Aww thanks! Initally this was in my button eye style, but somehow it didn't quite work out and I turned it into a mix of mine and Tealin's style.
Who I know, too, of course, I've done other artwork dedicated to ... her? xD I am no sure either. LOL And yes, Tealin's Holmes is fantastic! I love it too! xD Unfortunately I cannot draw him exactly like that, even though I've tried often enough... D:

Haha, wonderful, I love his posture and face -- ~GoodOldBaz's interpretation is so perfect for this!
I also adore your colouring of Holmes, there seem to be so much different colours that are subtly weaved in, it downright glows with a cartoony vividness that is very pleasant to look at. :33

Thanks! It's a bit too saturated and reddish (the dressing gown was grey in the original). :/
But I am glad it's being liked anyway! xD And it also, of course, depends on the peoples monitor calibration, too. xD

Oh, for me it looks brown.. Ew, monitor calibration seems to be a tricky thing indeed... :P

This is fantastic. XD  And very true, Holmes is pretty much always worth drawing.  He's full of endless possibilities, wears fabulous Victorian clothes, and lots of great angles.  :D

Yes yes yes yessss. Holmes is always... I... Wait, no. I have attempted a drawing of Holmes that is certainly in no way any good. 0.o though I have a slight idea as to why that was... XD
